A 100% natural skin care range that I am loving.

Natural skin care

A couple of months ago I spoke at a workshop to some regional managers of a large international company. During our lunch break the New Zealand manager approached me wondering what skin care I used. I explained that I used only 100% natural skin care, a selection that included all sorts of different bits and bobs. I could in fact quite easily be considered a skin care hoar, such is the random selection of brands in my bathroom. As OCD'ish as this may sound, my 'Virgoness' isn't at all fond of this cluttered array.

The same lady went on to ask whether I had ever tried a product from the Tailor Skincare range from NZ, to which I answered no, to which she very kindly responded with a couple of samples (and many a word of enthusiasm about said range - and before you ask, no, she is not a Tailor employee).

By the way, make sure you read to the bottom, because there's some 'good stuff' coming for THI subscribers.

Off home I went that night, eager to add the samples to my burgeoning range. One of the product samples included the bentonite clay Masque and in the bath that evening I lay, as it dried upon my skin (and froze into a scary expression, as masks tend to do).

A Skin Care Range Tested.

Now isn't it funny how the universe works, because just one week later Tailor Skincare approached me asking whether I'd be interested in trialling the range. Knowing what I did about their products (that they are 100% natural, that they make environmentally responsible decisions, and that they are not tested on animals) I of course said yes and agreed that after trialing it for a month or two I would share it with the THI community (assuming it's success of course).

I followed all relevant instructions on the back of each of the above products and busily set about my trial, expecting to report back several weeks later.

The result?

Just three days after receiving and incorporating this range I emailed Tailor to tell them of the impact it had already had on the look and feel of my skin.

It was THAT prominent.

My skin felt soft, plump, smooth, hydrated and moist. Significantly my lines seemed less visible. My make up even looked better over this skin care. Not only was I a happy camper, but the Virgo in me was pretty chuffed too.

I've shared a post previously to help you make more educated and ethical skin care choices. We've also written about what you need to avoid in your skin care.

Today I'm simply here to introduce you to a product I've tested (and can now confidently say I love) and to congratulate it's Founder and CEO Sara Quilter on the creation of a beautiful range of products.

What you decide to incorporate into your own routine is a very personal decision (you can select Tailor products according to your skin type), however I particularly love the two products below, mixed together and applied after my cleanser and mist, before my moisturiser.  I was also pleasantly suprised to enjoy the oil cleanser, having questioned whether my skin would feel clean (it does!).
