Wild harvested on Kokatha Country
A multitasker for the whole family

Made in small batches by Palyani, a proudly Aboriginal co-owned brand, this rich and velvety balm blends wild-harvested Irmangka-Irmangka (Emu Bush), olive oil, and beeswax - three natural ingredients traditionally used for their soothing and protective qualities.

This wonderful balm is a beautiful go-to for dry lips, sun-exposed skin, insect-bitten limbs, or tired muscles in need of gentle care. A true multitasker for your bathroom cabinet, bedside table or baby bag.  See drop down for full benefits.

Amy says...

"A friend recommended this balm for a small rash on my eyelid and I loved the sound of it so I gave it a go. The scent is divine, and I love that it’s all-purpose and made with just three simple ingredients. It’s one of those little jars you’ll keep reaching for."

Benefits

Traditionally, this multi-purpose balm has been applied to ease muscle and joint discomfort (including arthritis and general aches), relieve headaches and migraines when massaged into the temples and soothe a range of skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, rashes, cuts, burns and nappy rash.

It’s also been used to reduce irritation and swelling from insect bites and stings - including mozzies, bees, and more.

For respiratory support, it may be rubbed into the chest during times of congestion.

Some even melt a little to nourish the scalp or hydrate dry hair ends.

Gentle enough for daily use, it’s a beautiful companion for dry lips, tired limbs, or moments when you simply need to unwind.

Directions

Rub into the affected area 2 times daily until symptoms ease. Safe to use during pregnancy.

Balm should not be applied to festering sores or open wounds, particularly in eczema-affected areas, as it is oil-based and needs the skin to be relatively dry and not weeping.

Ingredients

Olive Oil has anti-inflammatory properties as well as moisturising the skin.

Beeswax has many healing properties, so it made sense to include it as a key ingredient. Bees also have their own cultural connection for us, as they are part of the pollination process for trees, growing beautiful flowers.

Irmangka Irmangka translates to “Bush Medicine” in Kokatha/Yunkanyjatjara language. Commonly referred to as Emu Bush, it’s an arid plant known for its strong anti-inflammatory, pain-relieving, and skin-nourishing properties. Grown in the Western and Central desert regions of SA, it has been used as a healing medicine by Aboriginies for thousands of years.

Palyani Balm

Love this product, have been using as a lip balm and on a small patch of dry skin on my face. I can definitely notice a difference. Customer service was amazing as usual, I received my order the next day.

Absolutely love this balm! Has settled my peri-oral dermatitis, helped healed cuts and is a great balm to lock my skincare in to do its work! This was going up against a balm I had previously used which was 4 times the price, hard to get etc. and it has come through brilliantly! Thank-you Amy for finding this gem ❤️
