As the weather warms, this berry, lime and vanilla smoothie makes a refreshing breakfast or afternoon snack.

Frozen berries bring bright flavour and fibre, while rolled oats and chia add more fibre and make the smoothie satisfyingly thick. A serve of our Creamy Vanilla Goat Whey contributes 17g of protein, with Greek yoghurt adding extra creaminess and protein. The squeeze of lime lifts all that berry sweetness, so it tastes fresh and summery without needing much else. I haven't added any extra sweetness because the protein blend brings the sweetness of monk fruit, but taste and add as you see fit. Enjoy!

Serves 1.

1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 serve Creamy Vanilla Goat Whey (or sub with your plant based protein)
1/3 cup Greek yoghurt
2 tablespoons rolled oats
1 tablespoon chia seeds
200–250 ml milk of choice
1/2 finely grated lime zest, plus a squeeze of juice
A few ice cubes, if you like it extra cold

Blend until smooth, adding a little more milk if needed.

Finish with a few fresh berries and toasted coconut, or a sprinkle of extra chia.
