Ceremonial cacao in its finest form. Stone ground in small batches in Tasmania, made from 100% heirloom, organic and ethically sourced Peruvian cacao beans. Unlike other cacao products, ceremonial cacao is made from the whole bean, that’s 100% cacao bean bursting with antioxidants and flavonoids. 100% Organic Cacao (Theobroma Cacao).
Combine your Ceremonial Cacao with water or milk, both will produce a deliciously creamy drink. I recommend blending for an even creamier and frothier result! (Just make sure your blender is heat safe).
A Ceremonial dose starts at approximately 40 grams.
For a deliciously simple hot cacao recipe:
2 tbsp ceremonial cacao (~20g)
1 cup of heated coconut milk (or milk of choice)
1 tsp coconut sugar
Stir, whisk or blend for a delicious and nourishing drink.

Store your cacao in an airtight container, in a cool, dark place such as your pantry. A Tupperware container will do the trick.
This is perfectly normal behaviour for ceremonial cacao and is called 'cacao bloom'. Rest assured, it does not affect the taste, texture, quality or shelf life of your cacao.
Ceremonial cacao is untempered, meaning that the cacao butter crystal structure changes over time with changes in temperature and environment. Should your cacao come to resemble an aero bar for example, if it was to be remelted and dried again, it would go back to it's original dark colour and texture, until the cacao butter crystals change again.

When can I expect my parcel?
Australia Post currently estimates 4-6 business days for standard domestic shipping. They estimate 1-2 days for express post, with a little longer when outside metropolitan areas. We anticipate occasional delays, so your patience is appreciated.
Where can I track my order?
Australian orders are sent out via Australia Post. Confirmation and shipping emails will be delivered to your inbox. Please make sure you check your spam folder if they don’t arrive.
What if I need to return a product?
Should your product arrive faulty or damaged we offer a 14 day return policy, providing the product is unopened. Please email us at hello@theholisticingredient.com as soon as you can so that we can look after you. We do not offer refunds for change of mind.
Can I return a nail polish, lipstick, sunscreen or skin care?
Due to hygiene regulations, cosmetics and skin care products cannot be returned based on change of mind. Please also note, the colour of all lipstick and nail polish products represented on your screen may not be accurate due to the variance in computer monitors, so please choose carefully.
When will my order be shipped?
Outside of weekends and public holidays, we will do our best to have all orders sent out within 24 hours of purchase. As a small business, we appreciate your understanding here.
