Often when we make the decision to 'healthify' our eating it comes at the expense of fostering our social side. I know in the past (when I've had to be very particular about my diet), I've declined a dinner invitation knowing it could set me back nutritionally or feared making a fuss over dinner. Could this be true for you?

Today I want to equip you with a few recipes that can turn your evening social life on its head. You can balance your health with your well being and it all starts with a few moments of food prep. Next time the option to hit the town arises, why not suggest holding a dinner party at your house? Next time you're invited to a party at a friend's house, why not take a plate? You'll not only ensure that you have delicious gluten free, refined sugar free and additive free food in front of you, but you'll delight your dinner guests too (assuming they appreciate healthy choices that is).

A point to note when formulating your meals - try to include a balance of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats. Read more about why this is important in our article on a balanced food plate here.

Dinner inspiration abounds! Click on the links below to find the recipes.
