Cheesy turmeric cauliflower popcorn

Brace yourselves folks, this is a healthy and scrumptious treat that the little AND big kids are going to love.  Cheesy turmeric cauliflower popcorn, bite sized pieces of crunchy deliciousness coming to an oven near you! It's also so easy to make you could ask the little people to whip it up for you. 

1 small cauliflower head (about 800g) cut into bite-size pieces
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated)*
1 tablespoon almond meal
1 tablespoon tapioca flour (or arrowroot)
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
Pinch sea salt

* For vegan version sub parmesan for 1/8th cup nutritional yeast

Set oven to 200 degrees celsius.

Line a large baking tray with baking paper.

In a large bowl toss the cauliflower in olive oil, almond meal, tapioca, parmesan and turmeric and sprinkle on sea salt.

Pour the cauliflower onto the tray and spread out evenly. Bake for 25 – 30 mins until golden brown and tender. Eat hot.
